BIO:

Mrs. Les Curthoys facilitates freestyle poetry courses and workshops.  She has a special interest in helping students and teachers experience the delight in the creative writing process.  In addition to workshops and teachers conventions, Mrs. Curthoys does poetry readings and is also a Artists in schools through the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.  She is the author of three books: Magical Moon Poems, Whispering Words and Celebration of Freestyle Poetry---and How to Write It, which received Honorable Mention in the category of Educational Title of the year, in the 1998 Alberta Book awards.
